Computer Science & Engineering Department was started in 2008 with an intake of 60 and it was enhanced to 120 in the year 2012. Again the intake was enhanced in 2019 to 180 seats. CSE Department got accredited by NBA in 2018. CSE Department having most experienced faculty in various domains of Computer Science & Engineering. The overall pass percentage of CSE students are always excellent. The students of CSE branch are getting good placements in various MNCs like Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, etc.,
Dr. G. Chamundeswari is currently serving as Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Ramachandra College of Engineering, Eluru. She holds a Ph.D. in CSE from JNTUK, with a research focus on Machine Learning. With 24 years of academic experience, she has served in various leadership roles across reputed institutions. Her core research areas include AI, ML and Image Processing. She has guided numerous student projects and published over 20 research papers in SCI, SCIE, Scopus , Web of Science etc indexed journals. She has successfully received grants for projects under MSME Idea Hackathon, TIH-IoT Fellowship and Smart India Hackathon. She has authored two academic books and a certified NPTEL achiever in Data Science, Compiler Design and NBA Accreditation. She actively participates in academic development as a reviewer, conference chair and has organized and delivered workshops, FDPs and webinars on AI, ML, and Data Science. She is passionate about mentoring students and promoting research-driven learning. Her vision is to foster excellence in teaching, innovation and institutional growth through knowledge sharing.
