Computer Science & Engineering Department was started in 2008 with an intake of 60 and it was enhanced to 120 in the year 2012. Again the intake was enhanced in 2019 to 180 seats. CSE Department got accredited by NBA in 2018. CSE Department having most experienced faculty in various domains of Computer Science & Engineering. The overall pass percentage of CSE students are always excellent. The students of CSE branch are getting good placements in various MNCs like Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, etc.,
Dr G Chamundeswari, Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, has a rich and varied teaching/research/administrative experience of more than 20 years. She received her Ph.D from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada, and her M.Tech from Narasaraopeta College of Engineering. With an impressive educational and professional journey, Dr. G Chamundeswari stands as a dedicated educator and a prolific researcher in her field. She has published remarkable articles in refereed National and International Journals and Conferences. Her research interests include Machine Learning, Image Processing and Artificial Intelligence. Dr. Chamundeswari's commitment to academia and research is further demonstrated through her active involvement in workshops, conferences, and Faculty Development Programs, where she continues to update her knowledge and expertise in emerging trends in Computer Science. She has a strong commitment in educating, inspiring and nurturing future generations of technology professionals, computer scientists and engineers. Her experience, passion for teaching, educational background, and active engagement in her field makes her a respected figure in the academic community.
